The Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JSERC) on December 29, 2025, notified the JSERC (Conduct of Business) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2025, further to amend the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business), Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Clause 3.2 is amended to align the Commission’s working days and holidays with the Hon’ble High Court of Jharkhand calendar, excluding weekends.
•Office hours will be from 10:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M., with a lunch break from 1:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
•If the High Court declares a holiday but State Government offices remain open, the Commission will also function with staff as per a notified roster.
•In case of work exigencies, the Secretary may, with Commission approval, open offices on non-working days.
These Regulations shall come into force on December 29, 2025.
